Rebecca & Laurent. North Greenwich engagement shoot

Today, I met Rebecca or Becca, this is how some people affectionately call her, and Laurent in North Greenwich station. I must admit, this is a part of London I am not very familiar with. In the late 1990s, a massive regeneration scheme was put in place to bring to life this neglected part of the city. Nowadays everybody knows the O2, formerly the Millennium Dome, so it's no longer a shabby area. I particularly like the new tube line serving this part of London, the Jubilee line, very efficient and clean indeed.

Lucy & Craig's Broadway Market engagement shoot

For Lucy and Craig's engagement shoot, the idea is to have a very relaxed and enjoyable day. It's March and the weather is beautifully mild now.The day starts at their East London home in great company – their lovely ginger tabby cat. It is a bit windy outside so it feels cosy and welcoming in their very colourful flat. Lucy and Craig found me when searching for London wedding photographer on Your Perfect Wedding Photographer Their wedding is planned at the BMA House in Tavistock Square, completed with a Scottish piper and a brass band. Amy & Steve's wedding at Ston Easton Park in Somerset

Sitting outdoors in South Bank – the cultural heart of London – for a light lunch, meeting with Amy and Steve to talk about their stylish and elegant Somerset wedding. I first met Amy, creative owner of Opulance Cakes at Chosen wedding fair. We were both exhibiting at the Paintwork in Bristol, an exciting and trendy venue. Fatima & Kipp . Destination Wedding, Scotland

I am now on board of the train that is taking me to Kyle of Lochalsh. I'm not even sure  how to pronounce this very Scottish name! My adventure started last night in London on the Caledonian Sleeper, heading to Inverness in Scotland. Yes, I treated myself to a luxurious first-class overnight train, and I am loving it every minute. I have come to dislike travelling by plane, so complicated and impersonal. So, here we go a 12 hour journey overland. After many years living in London this is my first time in Scotland, and I really wish I knew about this beautiful country before.

Alaine & Tim. Wedding

I'm so happy to share this beautiful wedding with you today. Alaine and Tim's Chinese English wedding was a real exotic blend of two different cultures. Alaine's strength and courage touched me very deeply. She unfortunately lost her mother not long before her wedding day, but she was brave enough to appear radiant and happy all day long.

Lauren & David's Engagement Shoot in Hammersmith

An early start today for Lauren and David's engagement shoot on Hammersmith Bridge. A glorious sunny day, the first real spring one. The idea was to meet up early, to miss the multitude of people jogging, cycling, and walking along the river. But well, we didn't know that today the annual Hammersmith Head of the River Race (HORR) was taking place. The area was literally like Oxford Street at Christmas.
