Engagement session in London

For this lovely couple, Lucy and Craig's engagement photoshoot, the idea is to have a very relaxed and enjoyable day. It's March, and the weather is beautifully mild now. The day starts in great company with their lovely ginger tabby cat at their East London home. It is a bit windy outside, so it feels cosy and welcoming in their colourful flat. Lucy and Craig found me when searching for a London wedding photographer on Your Perfect Wedding Photographer. Their wedding is planned at the BMA House wedding venue in Tavistock Square. They will have a Scottish piper and a brass band.

Broadway Market engagement photoshoot

We decided to go for a short walk to the local Broadway Market, a great street market situated between London Fields and the Regent’s Canal in Hackney. This market, primarily on a Saturday, is a food market. A real hidden gem is full of exciting people, dating back to the 1890s. Nowadays a fantastic alternative to well-known and crowded London markets, offering a good selection of excellent little cafés and alternative shops.

The wedding couple

Lucy works for the NHS and is from Edinburgh, Craig is Canadian, but he's now based in London. They are keen cyclists and will always cover London's distances on two wheels. When I do engagement photos, I always try to include elements personal to the couple. In this instance, it will definitely be their tabby cat, the bike shop and the East London market.
