Battersea Power Station and the Old Marylebone Town Hall Wedding

London is a magical place to get married, especially in autumn's crisp, golden light. Capturing weddings here is something I adore, and this special day featuring two beautiful brides was no exception. The day began with a pre-wedding photoshoot at Battersea Power Station, followed by a joyous double-decker bus ride to the iconic Old Marylebone Town Hall for their ceremony.

Pre-Wedding Photos at Battersea Power Station

We started the day with a relaxed couple's photoshoot at Battersea Power Station. After plenty of planning, the brides and I agreed this would be the perfect place to capture the excitement and love of their day. They arrived by tube with their families and guests, creating a warm and lively atmosphere at this incredible London landmark.
With a creative blend of modern architecture, vibrant surroundings, and history, Battersea Power Station is the perfect place to create truly stunning images. From there, we boarded a classic red double-decker bus, ready to journey to the next chapter of their wedding day.

A Two Brides' Wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall

The bus ride was full of laughter, happiness and loud South American music as we went to the Old Marylebone Town Hall, a venue with a special place in my heart as a London wedding photographer. Known for its timeless beauty, elegant charm and friendly staff, it's no surprise this is one of London's most sought-after locations for wedding couples.
The ceremony was intimate and stylish, just like the brides themselves. Both were dressed in chic, relaxed outfits that perfectly reflected their personalities and the laid-back elegance of the day. Moments like these remind me how much of an honour it is to document such meaningful milestones in people's lives.

Sparklers Instead of Confetti

Autumn and winter weddings have a unique charm, but shorter daylight hours call for creative solutions to keep the magic alive. I suggested sparklers instead of confetti for Erika and Silvia's exit; the result was pure joy!
As the couple stepped out as Mrs and Mrs into the crisp evening air, the warm glow of the sparklers added a festive, celebratory touch that confetti just couldn't match in the dark.
These small but thoughtful details can make your wedding day more memorable and unique. I'm always here to help with ideas like this to ensure your day feels personal.
