Summer wedding at Ston Easton Park in Somerset
The meeting with the wedding couple
I would like to share with you my first meeting with this lovely couple, it was a beautiful way to get to know them before taking pictures of their wedding. Sitting outdoors in South Bank – the cultural heart of London – for a light lunch, meeting with Amy and Steve to talk about their stylish and elegant Somerset wedding was so lovely. I first met Amy at a wedding fair in Bristol, she is a creative owner of a wedding cakes company called, Opulance Cakes. We were both exhibiting at a wedding fair at Paintwork in Bristol, a very trendy wedding venue. The day of our meeting is so pleasantly bright and warm, it really feels like being on holiday. Amy and Stephen are such a relaxed couple. Oh, I am in love with Steve, the groom’s Ted Baker tailored jacket!
About The wedding
The wedding will have an Italian feel, as the couple love everything about Italy. The tables will be named by places they have visited in Italy. The invites are handmade by them, with paper from the windmill where Steven’s grandfather used to work. What a lovely touch! The wedding plan sounds really exciting and the grand finale will be fireworks!
The wedding venue
Ston Easton Park wedding venue is in Somerset. This has to be one of the most opulent country houses that I have photographed. When Amy told me about this wedding venue I couldn't believe how lucky I was. Ston Easton Park is an 18th-century Palladium mansion sitting in a beautiful manicured landscaped garden. The pretty Chrch where the couple, Amy and Steve are getting married is just a short walk away. Each room of the wedding venue is exquisitely decorated and finished with fine antiques. Everything is wonderfully spacious and is the perfect backdrop for the wedding photographs. Amy, the bride's champagne silk gown looks luxurious and sophisticated, possibly my favourite wedding dress ever. She looks stunning and so graceful. Wishing a truly happy life to two wonderful people.
