Wimbledon Village Wedding at the Coach House at The Dog and Fox

A beautifully early autumn wedding in Wimbledon village

I am at the Coach House in Wimbledon to photograph Emily and Bryn's wedding; it is Friday 24th September, a beautifully warm early autumn day.

The village feels alive but without the craziness of the weekend. Many people are enjoying the pleasant weather, horses from the stable next door pass by, and I feel on holiday!

Emily is super friendly and very organised, always prompt to reply to messages and emails. She has an adorable American accent, Bryn is South African, very easy-going and madly in love.

Unfortunately, because of Covid restrictions, his mum from South Africa couldn't attend the day.

They love Wimbledon village's vibe, which is why they opted to get married at the Coach House. Part of the Dog and Fox private wedding space that has recently been renovated with 20 gorgeous boutique bedrooms.

Wimbledon Village

The village of Wimbledon is one of London's most iconic and world-famous, thanks to the fame of the tennis championship. It is a leafy neighbourhood in the southwest of the capital. Cycling around feels like being in the countryside, yet we are only 15 minutes away from the centre of London. I feel terribly lucky to be able to call this part of the city my home.

The wedding day

The 70 guests enjoy the exclusive use of the outside area; amongst them, there are friends, family and children. The staff here at the Coach House are friendly, and the atmosphere is really relaxed.
