Sunset engagement photoshoot in Greenwich
The meeting with the bride
I met the bride-to-be Emma and her family at a local wedding fair where I exhibited as a wedding photographer. The event was at The Telegraph, a lovely country pub in Putney Heath's heart. The bride's father stopped at my stand and asked many questions about wedding photography. He came after, accompanied by the whole family. Including the charming grandmother, the only person not present on the day was Steve, the groom-to-be.
The decision to book me was made, and I would be Emma and Steve's wedding photographer in Twickenham. I arranged to meet the bride and groom in Southbank on a very windy and wet December evening. The area was very festive, with a Christmas market along the River. At the meeting, we spoke about the wedding day and the engagement photoshoot, which was to take place in Greenwich, their home town.
Greenwich engagement photography at sunset
It is May, and I am on my way to meet Emma and Steve at Canary Wharf Pier to catch a boat to Greenwich for their engagement photoshoot. The weather is expected to be unpredictable, with rain and sunshine. Let's see if we're going to get wet! Amazingly, it didn't rain during the engagement photoshoot. I would have liked to photograph the couple on the Riverboat but unfortunately, it didn't happen due to the high volume of commuters. Instead, we explored Greenwich and the surrounding area. Unexpectedly the day ended with a magnificent sunset.
