What a beautiful London Gay engagement photoshoot in Southbank.

The Southbank is undoubtedly the city's most vibrant, exciting, jazzy, lively and creative hub. An early start today for the pictures of this just-engaged couple, Paul and Richard.

It feels strangely busy today here. It is Saturday, 30 August. Oh, I forgot today is the biggest event of the year. The Festival of Love and the Southbank is in full swing.

To celebrate the anniversary of LGBTQ+ marriage, the Southbank Centre has created the most significant wedding weekend ever. I am here with this lovely couple, Paul and Richard, to celebrate their love story with an engagement photoshoot.

The atmosphere is terrific. It's bustling, and the area is filled with many couples from gay, straight, young and old. All ready to be married or renew their vows on the iconic Royal Festival Hall stage.

We had rain for a week but not today. Today, it is sunny, a glorious summer day full of happiness and energy.

Paul and Richard's wedding is planned for December at the Islington Town Hall. I can't wait to photograph their very Christmassy unconventional wedding.

It will be a relaxed wedding, a fun-filled day with family and friends.
