The meeting with two brides-to-be

I will forever treasure this beautiful LGBTQ couple, Ale & Eva's wedding at the Bingham in Richmond.

I clearly remember the first meeting with this beautiful couple of two brides. I was exhibiting as a wedding photographer at the most significant luxurious wedding fair in the UK. Brides the Show event was at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.

I could hear voices in the background; the day was bright and sunny. I could see two gorgeous girls approaching my stand. This is when I first met Ale and Eva at Brides the Show by Condenast in 2015.

The connection was immediate and very strong for so many reasons. We are all Italian, and the vision of their big day reflects many things I like, an ethos I am passionate about. It was going to be creative and very open-minded. They were excited to see my name on the stand, as they had already found me online when searching for a gay-friendly wedding photographer in London. They were thrilled to tell me all about their wedding plans.

Beautiful LGBTQ+ wedding at the Bingham

Months have passed since that first day, and finally, I got to photograph their lovely wedding at The Bingham Riverhouse in Richmond. It was a magical wedding, full of happiness, fun, games and friends. The day reflected the energy of their love. They wished to have a day full of the things and people they cared about and picked a funfair theme. They had confetti cannon, games in the garden, a super cute wedding cake with two princesses, a live butterfly release, balloons and bubble machines.

The day flew by so quickly. With Ale and Eva, I felt very much at home. They were sweetheart best friends from high school. They always admire and respect each other. What a beautiful couple.

Now, I have two new best friends.
