Alternative and non-traditional Wedding Photoshoot in London

Why is it important to have alternative wedding ideas and styles?

Personally, as an alternative wedding photographer based in London. I think it is a fantastic way to push boundaries and explore areas out of our comfort zone. For example, organising a non-traditional photoshoot requires months of preparation and hard work. The team involved is always critical as we discuss a dozen or more people participating. It's a network that includes similar-minded suppliers that I can recommend in the future. Being a self-employed photographer can be a very isolated experience. So, styled and editorial wedding photoshoots give me and everyone involved in the project a chance to experiment and grow at many levels. It is a chance to work on unique and cutting hedge ideas.

I love untraditional, unconventional weddings. And this is why working with Erin from Way Out Wedding is a dream come true.

Alternative wedding photography

I would just like to say a few words about this specific project. "I have always been fascinated by Meadham Kirchhoff theatrical and extravagant work, so I was thrilled to be involved in this unique photoshoot. Erin from WOW is always leading incredible projects, reflecting elements of unconventional and cutting edge beauty. The photoshoot was based on the 70-80's Americana, bubblegum, bohemian Glam, with lots of glitter and a palette of girlish colours. I love the boldly defined colours and the touch of the 70s glossy look. Avant-garde, non-conformist, unusual and out of the ordinary weddings, it's definitely what I like best. Having worked with almost everybody in the team before I knew that the standard was incredibly high.I'd like to thank everybody for the tremendous effort and a huge applause to Erin for orchestrating this alternative photoshoot to perfection."

Non-traditional photoshoots are the answer

Styled photoshoots are the perfect way to showcase your creative side and can be extremely beneficial as we can gain much exposure on social media, if the photoshoot is featured in a well known Alternative Wedding Blogs. The popularity of editorial photoshoots has grown enormously in recent years and is a wonderful way to reach out to the right not traditional couples. This shoot has been featured on Bespoke Bride Blog.
