Kim & Dan. Urban vintage wedding at Brixton East 1871
Kim and Dan's relaxed wedding at Brixton East 1871 was styled by the incredible Lou from Beyond Vintage, the stationary was also by this multi-talented lady. The day started with Kim and Dan getting ready in different venues.
The wedding ceremony was at Saint Paul's Church in Covent Garden, a little treasure just behind the main square, a hidden oasis away from the busy roads of central London.
Brixton East 1871
The wedding style was executed to perfection, reflecting the vintage energy that Brixton East 1871 retains so well. A former 19th-century furniture warehouse. The venue is arranged on two floors. Generall, the wedding dinner is served downstairs and canapés and champagne upstairs. The owner Andy Luckett, not only is the sweetest person on earth but also a true genius. He used to buy antiques for the internationally known Cath Kidston. His sense of style is exquisite, I fell in love with the venue more and more every time I visit. Andy has an incredible eye for detail and the most calming karma ever! It is fascinating to discover how Andy transformed an abandoned building into something totally unique and very trendy. He obviously had a vision and succeeded to bring to life an empty shell. His apartment too is full of retro and vintage treasures. It's calm and reassuring in a very Andy style. I am deeply honoured to be a recommended supplier on his very selective list.
URBAN VINTAGE WEDDING STYLING
Kim & Dan booked Lou's vintage wedding styling package, so I was very lucky to be able to photograph beautiful objects, including a very eclectic collection of crockery. My favourite was the table's numbers. A pile of vintage books were holding the numbers, creating a very fairy-like ambience. Thank you, Kim and Dan, for asking me to be your wedding photographer, I totally love your wedding!
