The couple chose Saint Paul's Church in Covent Garden for their ceremony, a charming oasis just moments away from London's bustling streets. This tucked-away treasure felt like stepping into a calm sanctuary, perfect for their heartfelt vows.

Kim and Dan chose 100 Barrington for their reception, a venue that perfectly reflects South London's creative energy. Once a 19th-century furniture warehouse, this space has been beautifully restored and features exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and vintage touches.

The layout works brilliantly for weddings, with dinner typically hosted downstairs and a relaxed canapé and champagne reception upstairs. The venue's flexible design means couples can create a truly personal celebration, whether they want understated elegance or bold, creative styling.

A Venue with a Creative Legacy

What makes 100 Barrington even more special is its history. The venue's former owner, Andy Luckett, is a creative visionary. For over seven years, Andy was the director of visual merchandising at Cath Kidston, where he brought his unique talent for blending vintage and contemporary design to the space.

When Andy took over what was then an empty warehouse, he transformed it into a vibrant venue full of character. Meeting Andy and working with him left a lasting impression on me. His calm presence, passion for design, and eye for details shaped Brixton East 1871 into the iconic, most amazing venue it became.

Although Andy has since moved on, his creative spirit remains, making 100 Barrington a truly inspiring wedding space.

Thoughtful Wedding Styling with Personal Touches

Lou from Beyond Vintage Design brought Kim and Dan's wedding to life with beautiful styling. Her talent for combining eclectic pieces with meaningful details shone through, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

One of my favourite details was the table numbers, thoughtfully displayed using stacked vintage books. This charming touch added a magical storybook feel to the tables, and I couldn't help but fall in love with the creative vision behind it.
