Inclusivity and diversity in the wedding industry – my experience at the LGBTQ Love For All, workshop

Hi, my name is Paola and I am the heart and soul of Paola De Paola Photography and Wedding photographer based in London specialising in diversity and inclusivity. I am also a member of The Gay Wedding Guide Directory and Gay Wedding Blog Directory.

I would like to share with you my experience of LGBTQ Love For All Wedding Workshop.

The event focused on the importance of inclusion and diversity in the wedding industry.

Steph, Tania and Robynne are the organisers of this fabulous seminar and photography shoot. The event is not only extremely informative but very good fun, giving photographers and videographers the chance to work very closely with real LGBTQ couples.

My first LGBTQ couple was in London in 2013, just before England and Wales passed the law in 2014 And I have since been a strong supporter of LGBTQ marriage and helped many couples organise their wedding in the UK and abroad.

Why are inclusivity and diversity so important to me?

Well, my husband is black British and my children are of mixed heritage I always felt very strong about fair representation in society of different communities.

I have exhibited in many wedding fairs during the years and many times LGBTQ couples have told me I was one of the few wedding suppliers who openly displayed LGBTQ couples on my stand, my website, and my social media.

It was sad to hear this, so I had to do something about it.

I believe that people from different communities all deserve visibility and a good representation in the wedding industry.

'One love' is my motto, no matter of colour, gender or religion. This is why I would strongly recommend Love For All workshop, not only is very educational but you will have the chance to openly ask questions in a very safe place. You will work with LGBTQ couples to understand how to be more inclusive in your business.

Once again, I would like to thank Steph, Tania and Robynne for their hard work in putting together this successful event.

A huge thank you also goes to the dream team of suppliers involved.

This RELLY is a workshop not to be missed.
